Jeannette: The Visionary Leader… In the 1980s, while most girls aspired to be doctors, nurses, or teachers, Jeannette took a different path. At just nine years old, she established her own travel agency in her grandparents’ living room. She would contact airlines, create travel packages using hotel ads from the Sunday Times, and sell them to her customers (mostly her parents). It came as no surprise that her first job after graduating involved selling high school trips to Europe. With a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years in hotels, tour operators, DMC, and meeting planning, Jeannette offers a rich background in the travel industry to each client, helping them enhance their operations and ensure the success of their events. A Native New Yorker, Jeannette love of travel and family brought her to Santo Domingo where currently calls home.
Karissa: The Revenue & Technology Guru… Karissa’s path was more traditional. Graduating from RIT with a degree in Hotel Operations and summer internships at prestigious hotels like The Sagamore, her passion for the industry solidified. She honed her skills working at renowned establishments like Algonquin Hotels and Roommate Hotels in New York City. Karissa’s expertise extends beyond operations. She’s a tech-savvy whiz when it comes to revenue management, ensuring data-driven strategies for your boutique hotel. And when she’s not crunching numbers, her creative side shines through her professional photography and her dedication to teaching alongside her martial artist husband.
